Burts Bees Hand Salve

Burt's Bees is the pioneer of non-toxic cosmetics. They started making "natural" skincare and makeup before the mainstream consumer was even aware that mass-market cosmetics could be harmful.

Of all the Burt's Bees products I’ve tried over the years, the one I buy over and over again is the Hand Salve. I discovered it two winters ago when I was desperate for something that would help my dry, cracked hands. This salve worked better than anything else I had tried. It comes in a round metal tin and has a pleasant rosemary, eucalyptus and lemon scent. It melts on contact with your hands and softens and heals dry and cracked skin beautifully. The ingredients consist of one hydrating oil after another: sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, sunflower seed oil, rosemary leaf oil, eucalyptus oil, lavender flower oil, and more. I use it on my feet right after showering, on my elbows, and on my hands throughout the day. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave your skin looking oily. The price point is great and you can find it at most drugstores. The fact that you can use it on not only your hands but also your feet, elbows and any other stubbornly dry area means you can get out the door faster. Woman-on-the-go approved.
